Phoenix Lights Incident
With the name of phoenix lights a famous UFO sighting is known that took place in Phoenix (Arizona, United States), and Sonora (Mexico), on Thursday, March 13, 1997. Strange lights of different descriptions were reported by thousands of people between 19:30 – 22:30 MST, in a space of about 480 kilometers, from the Nevada line, through Phoenix, to the outskirts of Tucson (Arizona).
There are supposedly two distinct events involved in this phoenix lights incident. First, a triangular formation of seen lights passing over the state. And second, a series of stationary lights observed in the Phoenix area. The United States Air Force later identified the second group of lights as flares launched by A-10 Warthog aircraft. That was conducting training exercises at the Barry Goldwater Range in Southwest Arizona.
Witnesses claimed to have observed a huge V-shaped object (of several football fields of size), moving coherently and causing the stars to disappear behind it to reappear after its passage, without producing any sound. And with five Spherical lights, possibly identified as the lighting of the engines. All known phoenix lights images were produced using a variety of commercially available cameras and camcorders. There were allegedly two distinct events involved in the incident. So, the end.
